Mankind will never be able to live together in peace and harmony. It never has and never will. It is impossible, because it is not in mankind’s true nature. Mankind’s true nature is the nature of the beast. People can and do resist it, but it cannot be changed by resisting and repressing it. Only the truth can overcome it. Mankind will always act like mankind when push comes to shove, and push will always come to shove. When it happens, the majority of mankind will always behave like the animals they are, dragging everyone down to the animal level. from: truthcontest/entries/the-present-with-religion/ We are living during a window of opportunity where much of the human race has enough food and shelter and leisure time to try to evolve past the deception of man and our animal nature. In the past, we did not have this opportunity, because we had to spend every waking hour trying to survive. This is a time of peace and stability compared to the past, despite all the violence, confusion and division. However, we are not using this time wisely and our animal nature of greed, violence, hatred and deception is hurtling us towards disaster... a disaster that will destroy so much that we will be forced to spend every waking hour trying to survive like cavemen again. We are destroying the planet, our habitat, out of greed, and the climate will inevitably turn on us. A small change in the temperature can have severe consequences for the human race. We could end up blowing each other up out of competition for waning resources. The biggest threat to the human race is deception, pretending that we are not in a critical situation, and acting like we are an invincible race. We have to face the truth and do something about it, or we deserve to perish. A � of Spirit and Truth will replace the old, stale order of the beast, or mankind WILL perish.
