Manoj P. Kesavan, the founder and Executive Director of Que-OS, will present to the Dilworth South End Rotary Club, a program about this open collaborative studio that helps create spaces for culture and community. . The club meets for a buffet lunch at 12:15 p.m. in the Morehead Room of the Dilworth Grille, 911 East Morehead Street. Visitors are welcomed. There is a $15 charge for the lunch. Que OS’ first major undertaking, called The Quasimodo Project, culminated during the week of the Democratic National Convention, and involved 130+ professional artists, performers, designers, cultural leaders etc., as well as 12 of the leading cultural/civic institutions of Charlotte. Currently their projects range from designing a free clinic in Haiti to be built out of shipping containers, to organizing pop up performances of dance, music and theater at public spaces in and around Uptown Charlotte.
