Manufacturing Tuning Specialist (Akron) compensation: $11.00 per hr Position available immediately!!! **1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM**Mon - Fri**Temp to Hire** Position Summary: Does complete production volume RF tuning/testing process of printed circuit board and cable assemblies. Maintain and records test data records for all testing/tuning operations for use by the customer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: *Tunes / Tests products using written test procedures and test fixtures. *Records daily test results of product for statistical analysis. *Complete Customer Data sheets to meet customer standards. *Marks and records all non-conformance products that have failed first level testing process. *Collect related components and assemblies listed on sales/work orders and deliver to the planner. *Employ problem solving techniques within work team to eliminate bottlenecks and roadblocks to successful operation *Provides assistance within the department to work with measuring and testing equipment. *Verify calibration of test and measuring equipment before use. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: *Excellent penmanship is a must. *Rudimentary math skills. *Excellent soldering and de-soldering skills. *Understanding and identifying pc board level components is required. *Ability to work independently without supervision. Minimum Education and Experience requirements: *Graduation from a two year technical program and/or college, or 3 years experience in electronics is required.
