Many Americans dont really pay attention to whats going on in the rest of the world unless it threatens to directly affect us. In Western Australia they are currently using a baited drum system that catches any type of shark lured into the trap. After the shark takes the bait he is hooked and left to slowly drown or an appointed team of fisherman will pull them out off the water far enough too shoot them in the head and dump their bleeding half dead bodies back into the ocean. Sharks are an apex predator that are very important to the oceans eco system. We should not be treating these majestic creatures in such a poor manor. We have nothing to be afraid of! In fact, for every 1 human killed by sharks there are 25 Million sharks killed by humans. Its sad really. #FishAreFriends
