Many Anzac soldiers, although forced, fought for what they thought - TopicsExpress

Many Anzac soldiers, although forced, fought for what they thought was a good and righteous cause. These soldiers are worthy of recognition and respect and it is a human tendency to remember them and value the legacy they have left behind, especially if they were loved ones, grandparents or relatives. Especially since it is to a great degree their efforts that has made the country we live in such a great place. However, it is also important to remember that the cause for the key players were one of imperialism and hunger for power and wealth and domination. They do not deserve remembrance and tears. These were warmongers worthy of condemnation. These warmongers still exist today. And we should recognise those of the past and of the present, across the east and the west, within our homes and across the shores, so more innocent people are not used and their blood shed, as it is still being shed in the millions every year. #AnzacDay #LestWeForget #LoveNotWar
