Many Christians are reluctant to warn others (even other Christians) that the LORD’s Coming is so soon and to get ready because they fear the response they will receive. You know what I mean. People are resistant to hear the Message about the LORD JESUS’ Return. It seems that nine times out of ten you are met with opposition to this Message. I don’t believe it is the rapture event in and of itself that puts people off. I submit to you that the problem with the Message lies in the Message of what is required of the individual to be prepared for the LORD’s Coming. This preparation that requires making a full surrender of your life over to the LORD JESUS: giving up personal pursuits; surrendering future plans; laying down worldly obsessions to make more time for prayer to develop a closer relationship with the LORD, and finding more time for reading and understanding the Bible. There are only so many hours in the day so something has to be sacrificed. You can’t have a both serious relationship with the LORD and also be entertained by worldly obsessions, because each requires time. This is the hour of the LORD’s soon coming. We know this because the signs given in the Bible to watch for are occurring all at once and we know about the passage Luke 21:32 (KJV) which says: Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. Basically, JESUS will come whether people like it or not. Being “rapture ready” is merely walking on the narrow way (Matthew 7:13-14 (KJV): 13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.) or put yet another way: walking in GOD’s Will: Matthew 6:33-34 (KJV): 33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Whether JESUS comes today, tomorrow, or the day after should have no bearing on walking the narrow path it takes to be ready for the rapture. That path is nothing more than being in GOD’s Will—a place you should be regardless of the soon coming rapture. So this may actually be the true opposition to the warning Message that the rapture is at hand. I propose to you that encouraging others to prepare for the rapture or merely to be in GOD’s Will is not a warning Message that is being told any too soon or too loudly—and certainly not as long as we continue to see events like what has happened in Christ Church, NZ; Philippians; Haite; Chile; Sri Llanka; and Japan. Be bold in your testimony. GOD will give you the courage!
