Many Christians say they believe that Jesus fulfilled the law of Moses, and yet they continue to try to touch God through Moses, when Jesus Christ and His covenant is now the only acceptable way to touch God. As Jesus said of Himself, I am the way, and as the apostle James also confirmed that anyone who continues in the law (of Moses), if he break it in just one point, he is guilty of ALL (James 2:10). Jesus provided the new law in Himself {Jn 1:17} which now governs the new and better (spiritual) covenant {Hebrews 8:6} and new (spiritual) priesthood {Hebrews 7:12} which as He said carries better promises in that the conscience is purged through obedience to this law only {***Hebrews 9:9 & 14} [Also see Acts 24:16; 1Timothy 3:9; Titus 1:15]. When we labor with the grace and truth of Jesus Christ, and keep the terms of His covenant and commandments, which He stablished upon His government, truth, and Spirit (nothing of the flesh, but only that which is of the Spirit sanctifies faith now and makes it acceptable to God), THEN will the Spirit enter into our faith and bear witness of Christ in us.
