Many Jews are vociferously denouncing the PCAs decision to divest themselves of their investments in Caterpillar, Hewlett-Packard and Motorola due to the reliance of Israel on their products to support Israels occupation of Palestine. A good and brave decision on the part of the Presbyterians, but disheartening (even if not a surprise) that so many Jews see this as an attack against them rather than a statement of the growing conviction that the Israeli Governments current trajectory is one that cannot end well for any who live in that part of the world, regardless of whether they are Jewish, Christian, or Muslim.
