Many a female is posting the following on bio/cover photo: Im against freemixing, so brothers please dont add me, but you can follow me to benefit from my posts. This making no sense. 1) you drawing attention to yourself, 2) if he does follow you, he can see pretty much everything you post anyways, and comment on it which will bring it into other mens newsfeeds which then attracts even more attention to yourself, 3) are male daees dead that he must benefit from you?, 4) if freemixing on social media is bad due to it opening the doors to fitna, perhaps it being better by keeping that door closed, switching off subscribers, privatising profile, and only adding females instead? Many a person passing own fatwas these days. Your primary source (IslamQA) is saying that it not being permissible to post own photo or even be on Facebook (or even drive a car). Please to stop deluding yourselves.
