Many are traumatised by the evils of criminals, some unfortunately become the victims and some are loved ones of victims. This trauma can never usually be healed and those left to pick up the pieces spend the remainder of their lives in an eternal depression, some even suicide - not many stand up for the community like Derryn Hinch and Ive known him personally for over a decade; for those that dont know, Derryn Hinch was bestman at my wedding in Nov 2010. I support many of his causes because those causes are for you and me - he has supported Overdownunder by coming up in the 2008 Powerchute and continues where he can to beat the drum for the underdog. Most of you would know that he recently incurred a $100,000 fine for being in contempt of court and there has been so many requests of me of what people can do... well, Ive put my money where his mouth is and launched a fund raiser to help pays his legal fees - I too have pledged a donation, anything will help, if you can! His legal feels are around $140,000 and he wasnt asked to speak up and step up for us, for our women and children so Im taking it on board...
