Many believe themselves to be merely persons and this is rarely questioned. They believe they are only as wide as their outstretched fingertips and as high as the top of their heads, and that they are something called a ‘self’ stuffed inside the body like air inside a balloon. But as you begin to recognise, understand and experience your real nature as the unchanging Self, the conviction, ‘I am in this body, but also this body is inside me. I am pure and unbound awareness,’ will awaken in you. I wonder how many of you here have really grasped what is actually being pointed to here? Not just this body is in me, but all bodies, all forms, all appearances—gross and subtle—are appearing inside my being. Does anybody come to this recognition? It’s not a super ego feeling.
