Many believers are content with the hands of God. Of course, you cant blame them, after all that is all they were introduced to. The concept of seeking Gods face is something they are not familiar with. For them, it is enough that their needs are supplied by God even if they are not acquainted with Gods ways. Have you ever beheld the face of God? Or in another way, has the face of God ever been revealed to you? Psalm 103:7 tells us that God made His ways known unto Moses and His acts unto the children of Israel. They were walking together but only one man knew the ways of God, while all the others only saw His acts or deeds. While Moses knew His face, the rest only saw His hands. Are you content with the ministry of His hands? Or you have shifted into the realm of those that seek His face to know Him? I think God wants all of us His children to grow from merely receiving from His hands into the lifestyle of seeking and settling down to behold His face. We are not called into the ministry of grab and get, we are called to behold His face and be transformed to His image. There is a higher level than receiving from God. There is a place to behold His face and be transformed by His glory.
