Many christians believe whatever makes them feel good no matter what the bible says. But if I trust God than I dont have to understand everything to believe it. For example; if I understand the law of gravity but I dont understand the law of lift then I could surmise that metal objects cannot fly. But then one day I see a metal plane flying through the air with no strings attached. Do I conclude that this isnt really happening or does it just remind me that there are still things I dont understand about the laws of physics? Personally I dont understand how a loving God allows people to go to hell. But the Scriptures clearly teach that some do. To me this is like my metal flying objects metaphor; there are things about the attributes and the nature of God as well as the laws of kingdom physics that I simply dont yet understand but I still believe God is good and He is right. If I told you a hundred years ago that entire Bible could be written on something the size of a penny you wouldve thought I was crazy. Why? Because your only reference for writing was pen and paper. The technology to accomplish this task had not yet been invented, nevertheless what is true now was still true a hundred years ago, only the context of technology was missing. When the most brilliant mind in the entire universe tells me something I dont understand, I dont question whether its true, I question my understanding.
