Many conservatives who were very strict on the blasphemy law now seem to be preaching tolerance and forgiveness. Many liberals who preached forgiveness or total abolition of the law are now demanding punishment for JJ. If youre against the law, you should be against it even when your worst enemy is the offender. If you stand by it, then the identity of the offender should not matter even if it is your own son. Saddens my heart to see the blatant hypocrisy across the spectrum. I for one am totally against the blasphemy law. But before one absolves JJ, all others who are rotting in jails should be set free.
