Many feel that spending on books is waste of money. Agreed that experience does not come from books, But from practical experience. But theoretical knowledge is a must as it creates understanding of the subject we are working on. It is the foundation for the practical experiments. Theory provides lot of understanding with out practical experience. .Theory is explanation of practical knowledge, one does not have to die to understand death or commit a crime to understand crime. By just relying on practical one will not understanding what one is doing, though he may be successful time after time.. For example, any one can work on the assembly line just by practical experience, but not understanding as to why it is fixed or as to what purpose it serves. Hence I believe combination of book-learning and practical experience is important. One will understand better as to what one is doing based on his theoretical
