Many friends have pointed out to me (as if I didnt know, and as if they are perfect), the glaring imperfection of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I agree with you people, but for me, I am always focused on the outcome. The greatest obstacle to Nigeria progress and well being in the last six years has being one Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and his gang in the PDP. Jonathan has elevated corruption to heights previously unknown in Nigerias history. Apart from that, he is personally irresponsible, professionally unethical, and traditionally uncultured. Under Jonathan and in six years, we had a (woman) Minister who bought BMW bullet proof cars at more than 10 times their official/market prices, we had another minister who charged over a million young and unemployed Nigerians, over 1,000 Naira as application fee for non- existing jobs ( there were only 3,000 vacancies)!!! That Ministester is still serving as a write this post. About 3 or four years ago, The UN Building in Abuja was bombed by Jonathans Niger Deltan Terrorist cousins, within one hour, he was on the airwaves, saying the Niger Delta terrosists didnt do it. The leader of that terrosist organization, Okah, is serving jail time for the bombing in South Africa. In fact, Okah has said repeatedly that Jonathan and Diezani ( our current petroluem Minister) knew about the bombing! On another occasion, a jampacked Motor Park was bombed by his terrorist friends, Boko Haram, what did the President do? He went dancing skelewu the following day in Kano! A president o!!! When no less a person than the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, wrote to the President that between $20billion nad $60 billion was missing from petroleum revenue, the president suddenly found the file where sack letters are written- the man was removed illegally. In six years, Jonathan bought 3 new Presidential jets and he is trying to buy one more to bring his total to 12 Presidential jets! Almost a year ago, so called Boko Haram invaded a high school in North Eastern part of Nigeria and abducted almost 300 children as they slept in their school dormitories, till today, the President has not deemed it necessary to even pay a visit to the school! It is instructive to note that the President is from South/South, while the school is in the North East. On at least two occasions, this President was at Internation meetings of Heads of State, in Zimbabwe and Australia respectively, when it was his trun to speak, our president was so drunk he could not stand on his legs without support. Now, if the Devil, comes to me and promises and works towards removing this disgrace of a president from Office, I, SAB, will support him. I have twos personal reasons NOT to like Tinubu, and one reason to like him. I knew his daughter Shade as a young man in Ibadan- that is my reason to like him. But, I have two very strong reasons to dislike him personally: he looked the other way when two of my friends were run out of town- both are medical doctors who had invested all their lives savings in a funeral home project. The other personal reason is rather too personal ( na una sabi- make una say wetin una like ). However, the lives, aspirations, comfort, security and happiness of 167 million Nigerians definitely over ride my personal interests. In my estimation, having Tinubu in my camp, makes my camp stronger in dislodging Jonathan from Aso Villa, and I welcome him, whole heartedly into my camp. I hope that the above is sufficient for those who ask me why are you supporting Tinubu? I am NOT supporting Tinubu, we have a common agenda for now. Datsall!!!
