Many have asked how they can help our family. Food. Food is always a help. James should only need to be in the hospital for 2 weeks as long as everything goes well. However, they said it could be anywhere from 2-6 weeks. Following discharge, we will have to go into Baltimore 2-3 times a week for lab work and appointments with his team. Hell also have therapy with Kennedy Krieger every week to help with anxiety. And he will also have meetings with his PT/OT and speech pathologist each week. Basically we are about to enter a hectic season of appointments. We know that this is a necessary step toward a more normal healthy life for James, and we would be grateful for help along the way.
