Many have tried to sum up what a computer demo is, and how it distinguishes itself from traditional computer graphics as seen in movies and TV. Its easy to just say its rendered in real-time, just like a video game but not everyone understands the significance of that comparison. My take: A demo is a form of digital artistic expression that doesnt shy away from its medium. Rather than making itself transparent by emulating reality, It seeks to embrace and visualize the emotional dimension of mathematics and computer code.
