Many ignorant people say it comes with the job. If someone really wants to kill you, they have a better chance of doing it than the officer has in surviving the attack. There is no remorse for someone who is automatically judged and perceived as a combatant due to their profession. No matter how well you do the job. There are parents teaching their children to walk and hate the combatant police at the same time. The police will never have the respect of the citizens they once had. Its all about us vs them. So it seems.
