Many items on the Town Council agenda for this Tuesday, July 9. But a couple of particular interest are here. Please plan on coming to the Public Hearing and Special Town Meeting at 7:15! The Special Town Meeting and Public Hearing at 7:15 is very important! This will be a public vote on this item for the approval of a piece of property in the Industrial Park on Alexander Parkway to Questar for the building of a compressed natural gas fueling station. I am in full support of this item as it is a commercial operation to expand the tax base and provide another valuable attraction for business in Killingly. Please come out and listen to the information and vote!! The second main item will be the joint meeting with the Board of Education to discuss the policy of Special Education Funding and the Minimum Budget Requirement for the Education Budget.
