Many know I went to Memphis and played the Southern Nationals Championship this weekend. Well, I played very well the first round until the last hole. I was 4 under, but took a 7 to end Round 1 at even par. I played poorly in round 2 and shot 4 over. Round 3 was not much better where I shot 3 over. The competition was great. I finished 35 of 81 in the Intermediate Division and did not make the cut. I want to send a huge shout out to all those who represented Arkansas so well at the Championship. Congratulations to Mark Smith for placing 3rd in Adv. Masters, Sam Michaels and Josh Lindsey for making the cut for the Finals and tying for 6th in the Advanced Division, Matt Loyd for making the cut for the Finals in the Advanced Division, and Sheldon Ray Shinn for placing 3rd in the Intermediate Division! There was a lot of talent on display at this event, and it was a honor to watch you guys play!
