Many know that I have long wanted to get rid of daylight savings and stay in spring forward. This year Rep Joe Schmick has sponsored a bill to do just that, allow for spring forward year round. I was just informed today that HJM 4001, requesting that Congress allow states to adopt year-round daylight savings time, will be heard in the House Committee on State Government on January 22nd at 1:30pm. PLEASE if you want to get rid of daylight savings, help support this bill. Testimony will be heard the 22 in Olympia or written comment can be submitted.
