Many know the Gettysburg tale of Jennie Wade - the only civilian killed during the duration of the famed American Civil War battle. What also is know is that she had a sweetheart by the name of Jack Skelly, who died of mortal wounds in Virginia. Before word could be delivered to her of his death, a stray bullet entered her home and killed her. A long-standing tradition is that if a single girl inserts her ring finger into the bullet hole in the door, she will be engaged that year. Whats a single girl to do? I did it. And listen to what the audio captured. Note that I was the only elligible female there, and the rest of the tour had moved on without me.
