Many live a life of confusion, fear and uncertainty because they are not perceiving clearly. Time is spent with regrets of the past and fear of death in the future. This is because one is not reacting to the world as it is, but rather how it appears to be, fragmented, filtered, interpreted and judged by the impure mind. Many desire Self-realization as just another higher form of escape from suffering and uncertainty. Paradoxically the first and genuine step on the path of Self-realization is by no longer believing the kinetic mind, and by the act of acceptance of what truly Is (opening your heart and mind to the Infinte).
