Many of my friends and clients are teachers. This sums up what they are telling me. Too many people think they know what is happening in other peoples lives and we just dont know. Our version of other peoples reality is not always accurate. We need to listen and not just to the media. Is it possible that our current premier really does not care about public school? Quite possibly. After all her own child does not attend. We get angry because we think as tax payers we are paying for this when the reality is the government is misusing our money. Taxing the poor. Giving breaks to the wealthy corporations and lining their own pockets. Christy proved this when she attempted to give her own staff BULGING raises. One of very best friends had to take her daughter out of school because there were so many children in the class requiring assistance that her child being the well behaved one was getting looked over. The teacher knew it but her hands were tied. And the worst thing that is happening right now is that the government and media are so focused on making our teachers look bad that we are forgetting to support them. Forgetting what they are really fighting for. And forgetting that the money is there its just not being used for what is actually for. Rant over.
