Many of my friends students and fb acquaintances have sent to me the Eid Greetings in inbox ,I thank all of them,but let me tell you frankly I am so much distressted and disturbed by the present situation in Kashmir that I donot feel to give eid greetings to anyone or receive these.Because my heart bleeds for the tragedy and misery of my people especiolly the poor ones ,who have been rendered destitute and helpless not only by the deluge but by our unorganised efforts and schisms in the matters of even relief distribution,what to say about other things.I have seen many well off people grabbing trucks of relief and depriiving the weak ones from their share.The religious and sociol organisations are making arbitary distributions at times and leave the most hard hit victims high and dry .The credit taking tendency can be seen from the posters and press releases in the news papers and much amount is being wasted on publicity by those people whose bahaviour and honesty has been challenged even by their own counter parts .They could distribute relief but why to show off it and try to mislead people by posturing is a worrying tendency .There are sectarian agendas being perpetuated on the name of relief and rehabilitation and all the molvis and madrasahs want to receive the skin hides of the sacrificiol animals and for that reason they have arranged joint slauhtering of the same .I wonder when our millions of muslim brethren are in need of financiol support why our molvis want to deprive them even fromthe amount which can be managed from this opportunity .These are the reasons why I feel miserable at times and disturbed beyond proportions.I saw muslims offering eid prayers in their small masjids even those who belong to this group or that group also offer prayers of eid in their mohallah majids and they did not bother to be in the big congregations held by their respective sects at Eid Gahs and various grounds.What has happened to my small nation that it has got thousands of divisions and hundreds of agendas for the same aim and it has been divided by our molvis and politicians into small segments sothat they exploit it at willand without any resistance. .When such is the situation how can I feel giving or receiving eid greetings .I dont fee lmyself entitled to one !Sorry dears
