Many of my treasured lessons in Malaysian societal living comes - TopicsExpress

Many of my treasured lessons in Malaysian societal living comes from 3 sources: 1. My Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) in Sect 16/17B, SS19 and Putra Heights (different stages of my life) - different races who are lovingly curious about each others family and racial cultures and loving share lives (and food!) with each other. 2. Rukun Tetangga Sect 17 (now with PB Residents Association) - my dads legacy in social concern has given our family much opportunity in mingling and growing with neighbors of different faiths and races with the same respect and loving curiosity. I encourage all to have this loving curiosity about each other. Build bridges. Throw the word tolerate out the window. Remove your bias glasses (hello, we all have them) and trust God/Allah to lead the way. I repeat the words etched in memory by a late (and great) Ben Lye: God designed us for unity, for oneness (In marriage/family/society). Why oneness? Because He desires Godly offsprings. Godly fruits. Fruits of division do not please Him. True? Maybe this is my Christmas message. Merry Christmas to all :-)
