Many of us are self proclaimed control freaks, feeling the need to micro manage our lives and those in it so we can experience our own personal version of safety, security and comfort. However, this strategy we think will benefit our lives often only serves to induce fear, stress, anxiety and is counter-productive to what we are trying to achieve. Here are some ways you can commence your journey to losing control and embracing a more desirable, steady and even flow in your life. 1. Be flexible in your thinking. Yours is not the only meaning and perception available. It is based on your upbringing, environment, preferences and values. Others are not necessarily wrong, just different to you. Evolving comes from being open minded. 2. Bless for success. Share your encouragement, time and resources with others. There is abundance for each and every one of us. Lack only exists in the dictionary of fear. In the support of others achievements, you will open clear channels for you as well to receive and succeed. 3. Things tend to always work out, even if the current situation is not desirable. More often than not, those that find themselves on Down & Out Street who turn onto Faith Drive once again find themselves on Bigger & Brighter Avenue. 4. Become stronger than any fear you carry with the need to control. I personally like to challenge my fear with a simple phrase, letting it know that I release fear for my greater good. Fear diminishes your personal power. 5. Trust that you are exactly where you need to be at any given moment and request the support you need. Spirit hears – love yourself enough to ask, trust yourself enough to listen. Lose control, gain life momentum!
