Many of us have experienced persecution for our Religion, our beliefs, our spiritual journey. Satan uses shame, contention and fear to hurt those who are on a journey of discovery and learning about Jesus and the path he set for us. Fellowship is important, to have somewhere to meet and share common beliefs is a spiritually charging experience. Finding common ground is an uplifting process. Satan tried to divide us through finding fault. He has a tool that works well for him, its religious contention. I have never read about Jesus saying to waste our time looking for fault in others, in fact he taught us not to. He told us to lead by his example and to do well to others. I never see the message of Jesus when I see two people argue over religious doctrine. For me, I need to go to the source. That is the Saviour. Read what he did. Learn about what is most important for us to return to our Father in Heaven. Love one another, serve, show kindness, compassion and forgiveness. Seek the good, do not judge, be humble and show mercy.
