Many of us may NOT acknowledge but the fact remains that ANNA Hazare Movement initiated the Wave of CHANGES in Political Landscape where the Common People can define the Agenda and Direction of the Politics. This is evident from the examples like ‘Recognition of Right to Reject (NOTA)’ and also ‘Withdrawal of the Ordinance under PUBLIC Pressure’. For the later the PRESIDENT also played the role of sensitive Statesman. But How FAR these changes will go, we will see in next 20 years. There is a RISK also that in the absence of a well defined Framework to identify the ‘Wishes of the Common People’ and channelize the associated ‘Political Will’, the changes may lead us to the place we had never thought of. We should not forget that all REVOLUTIONS start with a Good Intention and later turn into a Nightmare. Many of our CORRUPT Secular Leaders entered the Politics as the part of JP Movement or Lohia’s Socialist Movement. Similarly a large number of CORRUPT Politicians whenever alleged for Corruption seek the Refuge under the notion of so called ‘Victimization being DALIT or Minority’. It’s our Fundamental Duty to remain vigilant and keep our system safe from such people.
