Many of us travel to neighboring countries for different reasons and we should all remember that lot of wild dogs may roam the streets in these countries and if you are attacked by a dog either wild or domestic the first thing should be to immediately go to the nearest emergency room and no time should be wasted doing this.This is because wild dogs can transmit a deadly disease called Rabies and if the disease takes a foot hold in your body then it is unlikely that you will survive.When I was doing undergraduate studies I have seen a few cases of Rabies and without exception all of them died.However if you get treatment without delay you will be prevented from getting this deadly disease.
