Many of us who are involved in the league are dealing with life circumstances and its breaking us; however our pride keeps us from reaching out or admitting we may have a problem. Some of us are hurting to include myself. My heart hurts when I hear your story, because its a reflection of my story, so it provides a mirror like effect back into my past directly into my soul. God will never put on us more than we can handle, because He already put the weight on the cross for us. The hardest thing to do is lift your own weight, in Christ and at the Cross, God did all the lifting. He didnt just lift the sins from me, but from all of us. How heavy is that? The beauty of Saturday morning is, I DONT see flag football, I DONT see any players or teams out there either. I see guys hanging around and having conversations about life. I see a mother out there watching her son, I see families out there supporting their husband or father. I see significant others being apart of someone elses life. I see children playing at the park. I see guys so competitive humble themselves and pray together. I see guys reaching out and encouraging. I see guys mentoring and witnessing. I see guys run to each other when things might get a little heated, not to stir the pot, but to remind of us our purpose for being out there.
