Many of you ask….How can I help Humble Hearts? You can help us out by hosting a sock drive by collecting funds or new and used socks. Our homeless people needs clean socks every day all year long. Part of Humble Hearts purpose is to promote, and provide healthy hygiene to those who can’t afford to do own their own...We are desperately in need of socks!! Back in the summer I wanted to host a sock fundraiser inspired by Randy our homeless guy. I never got around to doing it so I am asking YOU ALL for help to please sponsor a sock drive at your place of employment by asking your office management to do so or place a jar asking for monetary donations. We are a 501c3 tax exempt Organization as well as tax exempt in the state of Illinois if you want to donate monetary fund’s we can personally purchase these socks without paying taxes at a local sock distributor. You can place a drop box, or sponsor jar in your office or store – direct people to our FB, & Website so that they can personally see what we do help those in need. If you need a copy of my Tax EIN for verification please inbox me. If you work in a target, Wal-Mart or any retail ask your supervisor to please help us in donations. These picture were taken on our weekly feedings at different times I asked my homeless people to allow me to take a picture to show how many are walking around with no socks because the rain has soaked them to the point where they are soggy and stink, some wear the same sock for months because they don’t have any. Please help us supply clean socks to those in need. If you are filling a shoe box for our xmas gift please feel free to stuff a few pair in there even your own as any kind of socks new or used is a blessing…. As you can tell by the pics no one should have to live like this. In one pic you can see the difference with one foot a new pair and the other foot with a sock been worn for 3 months. Look how they wear plastic bags to keep their socks dry because the rain has soaked their shoes. We get to go home take off our wet shoes and socks, and warm our feet up with clean dry socks the homeless doesnt!!! :( PLEASE SHARE TO SPREAD THE NEED Carol Boyd Yee Ellie Mae
