Many of you following me may know that I was doing Insanity about - TopicsExpress

Many of you following me may know that I was doing Insanity about a month ago .... what you may not know is that I was combining it with running and somehow along the way I got a little back injury and had to be sidelined for about a week or so (in fact, I still have stiffness there after a workout). I knew I was taking on too much, too soon, but I was afraid to give up because I had so many people watching me and rooting for me.... and I didnt wanna feel like a quitter (at least thats what I told myself I would be). So I spent a lot of time thinking about it, and was worried about what I would say to all my followers and challengers and coaches.... Ultimately, this is what I realized: Its ok to admit that you have taken on something you werent quite ready for, its ok to admit that youre not quite as strong as you thought, its ok to take time for your body to heal and its ok to change your workout or your plan. The road to success is not a straight line, there will be twists and turns along the way, there will be setbacks too... but as long as you keep moving forward then YOURE MOVING FORWARD!!! So Im allowing myself to admit that I need to back off and build up my endurance (especially having a new baby at home) and Im excited by what the future holds. Beachbody is launching the NEW Insanity Max 30 next week and Im planning to start it on January 5th. The great thing about this new program is that theres a low impact modifier (I can ease into it) and its only 30 minutes a day (easy to fit in with a new baby) AND most importantly....... SHAUN T of course!!!! *Thanks for listening to my confession and thank you to everyone for being here for me and supporting me on my journey!!!* #iappreciateyou
