Many of you have been anxiously waiting for a health update. Bladder stones removed through surgery. Check. Edema, swelling in foot and lower leg from surgery still happening. But the foot guy says take a diuretic and wrap it. Check. Hmmm, whats all this light headedness and leg cramping? Oh, because the diuretic has flushed out the potassium which helps control muscle cramping. Another photo taken just make make sure the bladder is free of debris (stones). Holy crap BATMAN, more stones than there were before the surgery 2 months ago! How could this happen so quickly since it usually take 3 months for stones to form. Oh, probably from the diuretic since potassium keeps the calcium from becoming a solid mass. What to do? Take potassium citrate and hope for the best. OH, by the way, potassium citrate can make you vomit and become dizzy. Moral of the story. Doctors do not work together. Do not communicate. Everything they give you has a side effect. Be careful. And try to stay away from those STATINS. So far I am not yet in pain.
