Many of you have been asking about next seasons schedule. We plan on starting with a Test and Tune on April 24th 2015. Our season opener will be the 1st of May 2015 and we will plan on running almost every Friday through the end of August. We will finish the season off on September 3rd 2015 with a USMTS Hunt Race. We are looking forward to the 2015 season with a full gambit of IMCA Racing. In addition 2015 will be Fairmont Raceways 50th year running which is a great accomplishment. We are also looking into having a Frost Buster in the beginning of April. Here are some of the things we have planned for 2015: Test n Tune Opening Night Spring Kids Bike, Toy and Candy Night Fast Shafts All Star Qualifiers North Star Touring Series JSTS Speed Week Season Championship Jam the Stands 50th Anniversary Special Martin County Fair 150th Anniversary Race End of Season Kids Bike, Toy and Candy Night USMTS Hunt Race In addition we will again be having multiple community partner nights to help raise awareness for special groups and people in our area. Thanks in part to the help of Dan Kastner we have been able to pick up some new sponsors for 2015. His help in bringing in new sponsors is greatly appreciated. If you know of or are interested in helping to sponsor at the track please feel free to contact us. There are sponsorships available at all levels and they all help to make sure the track can be successful. A couple of main sponsorships that are available for the 2015 season are the class sponsorships for both the IMCA Sport Modified and Sport Compacts. With National Champions Matt Looft and Nate Coopman racing in each one of these classes the sponsorship exposure is high. In addition the Long Haul Award Sponsor is also available for 2015. This weekly award given to drivers that came from the furthest distance was huge hit with drivers in 2014. At times drives came to race from as far away as North Dakota and Kansas. Regularly there were drivers that made trips from Des Moines IA, Sioux Falls, Redwood Falls and other areas that are 2+ hours from the track. We are currently working on setting a date for this years awards banquet and will post as soon as we have one set.
