Many of you know, I have had a long time relationship with Panhandle PBS. In fact my first show Back to The Table w/Chef Bud was produced by Panhandle PBS. I love these people so much, I believe in their mission. After serving on the Advisory Council for several years, my schedule hasnt allowed me to participate like I should. So I stepped down, and today these beautiful women Julie Mann (Membership Coordinator/and Mr Rogers fan like Chef Bud) and Lynn Groom Development Director on my left, presented me with a copy of Ken Burns The Dust Bowl and I LOVE IT! Just being at the station a bit today, brought up so many memories of so many people who gave so much to me when I first started. It was so good to see everyone, and very kind of them to remember me this way. PBS represents a piece of all of our lives, and when you are a kid from a small town in Nebraska, it was definitely a big part of my Good Life. Because we only had three channels and channel 2 (PBS) growing up! lol Enjoy!
