Many of you know and many do not but I had spinal fusion surgery 2 weeks ago today. I am not the type person to want sympathy nor help therefore I dont make things like this public. This surgery however has been one of the hardest things I have ever been challenged with. #1 I live alone and have no help at all other than my family. #2 my furniture was not even half way what I needed to have when I got out of the hospital 2 days after surgery. #3 I cannot bend, twist, reach, or pick up anything over 10 lbs. for at least another month. #4 I DO NOT FUNCTION WELL ON PAIN MEDICINE! I however have 2 of the dearest friends anyone could ever ask for. Linda Hester Evans never left my side in the hospital and basically slept on the floor. Marilyn Shelton has been with me every second linda could not (LOVE THEM TO THE MOON AND BACK FOREVER) and my sister Scarlett Roberts covered the other time. Lover her just that much and more!My mother and step father and my brother have met every other need I have had. Denon Braswell had Greg and Cory Hughes to help move furniture to accommodate my needs when I came home (come to find out Linda and Marilyn can move the whole house around 10 times with the best of movers). I am on the road to recovery but it will be a long recovery process. Thanks to Cecil and Ricky for working for me, for all the calls, texts, food, gifts of money, and most of all Prayers. I am throughly convinced that is the only way I have made it this far!
