Many of you know our obsession with safety. You know that for many years pitching safety requires sound fundamental mechanics in the follow-through. We have invented skill drills, we have encourage sports vision exams, we have drawn diagrams and split-second timing models, we are relentless in teaching safe play for our pitchers. There is going to come a day when pitchers are going to have to wear face guards and helmets. Just like hockey players. Just like hockey players baseball has resisted safety equipment.
