Many of you know that my daughter, Lexy, is 14 years old. I would - TopicsExpress

Many of you know that my daughter, Lexy, is 14 years old. I would like to share a conversation. Up until this moment, we have no Christmas presents under our tree. I hope to remedy that soon. I say this, because as we were sitting, she said, Mom, can we open our Christmas presents BEFORE Christmas? I looked at her and said, Little Punkin. There are NO presents under the tree. WHAT are you going to open? She looked at me, smiled, and responded, Mom, I KNOW that there will be presents under the tree before Christmas. Those are the ones I want to open. It made me think. That is SOME kind of faith that my daughter has in HER PARENTS. Not only does she know that we will make sure all her NEEDS are supplied, but she has no doubt that we will also supply her WANTS. Now, my friends, if we could only have that child like faith-KNOWING that not only will our heavenly Father supply our NEEDS-but He is also privy to our WANTS. Would we live with that sense of expectation....just waiting to see when what weve asked for will appear, and will it be when we least expect it? #TheFaithofaChild #GreatestGifts #Christmas2014 by Jessica Marquez :)
