Many of you know that my family is my world, and as the oldest of 6 I never knew what losing a true love would feel like. On Friday night, my littlest brother passed away suddenly due to cardiac arrest. I feel so blessed to have seen him at the hospital and to have been there for my other brother who had found him and tried to revive him. Sadly, my parents were out of town for the kids Spring Break and my sister was in Thailand, it was truly a tragedy and nothing we could have prepared for. We are all home now, together, celebrating Jack and remembering everything he was. A writer, the true life of the party, a lover, a poet, an entertainer, the comedian, a shockingly fantastic dancer, an incredible kind brother, a friend who touched many peoples lives, and after talking to his friends, everyone was ALWAYS happy when he was in the room. He inspired many to not care what others think and to be themselves- I always admired that about him. Because of him, I will make sure to laugh more, and to enjoy life, and to order the best item on the menu, and to be happy with who I am. Because of him I am becoming closer to God, knowing that he is good and we now have an angel looking over us. Our hearts of course have been broken, but moment by moment we are bonding them back together with the love, faith, and memories he left us with. I feel him now more than ever and I know now we will talk every day. I love you John Joseph, rest in peace my baby brother
