Many of you know we are in the first week of integrating a new 10 month old pap into our family ( raven ) our almost 2 year old pap/pom ( Toby ) had been an only dog and very loved and spoiled at that lol for his entire life. The hardest thing for him the last couple of days has been us paying attention to the new pup and feeling replaced. We have been putting forth a lot of effort in making him feel loved. We have even taken him on outings by himself for one on one time. He now tolerates her which is all we can hope for at this point. Every day he acts a little more like himself. They arent cuddling or playing in this photo but this is the first time he didnt let out an annoyed growl under his breath when she was near him. This to me is a victory!! ( Toby is the one scowling on the back of the couch lol )
