Many of you may be receiving in the mail notice from Le Directeur general des Elections du Quebec that your son or daughter will soon be turning 18 years old and will be entered into the electors lists. In that same envelope will also be a notice of which linguistic school board they will be listed under. This is your opportunity to go to the QFHSA website and find the corresponding form to make the request to have your son or daughter listed under the English school Boards instead. November 2 will be the date for the first school board elections in seven years. It is important for as many Quebec citizens, who are eligible, as possible, to be inscribed on the school board voters list of their choice and exercise their right to vote. Go to QFHSA.org and look under the tab School Board Electoral Lists, find your school board and follow the links. The sooner these forms get sent in, the better.
