Many of you may have heard in the media about the sad and unique case of two patients dying last year shortly after receiving a kidney transplant from the same donor. Our hearts go out to the families of Mr Hughes and Mr Stuart who are having to come to terms with the unexpected deaths of their loved ones following their transplants. Our thoughts are also with the family of the donor.
