Many of you may have heard that this week will be my last week as host at Mitchells Pubb open mic. For the better part of 3 years we have been a part to the great music scene in Solvey. In the beginning Pelican Petes and most recently Mitchells. I have had some wonderful times playing and making music with many of you. We have made friendships and bonds that will, Im sure last a very long time. I have watched musicians grow into excellent performers and confident entertainers. We always tried to provide a stage where all who came were invited and welcomed to play and make music. I have always tried to be encouraging and fair to everyone who came to play. I have had the honor to play with some amazing musicians and the time spent will always be treasured. With that said I would like to thank some of the musicians whom I have made friends with and was graced with their music. Chris Togni, Matt Douglas, Scott Schrader, Miss Meina, Teddy Imboden, Todd Storinge, John T Brown, Mike Brown, Mark Carfagno, Alex Tito Smith, Rob Nogash, Roland Brunet, Vince Lumia, Marc Caselle, Steven Robinson, Mark Mahoney, John Brown, Michele Turner, Kevin Lofstrom, Kevin Kinsella, David Antonini, Marcus Bumgardner, Michael Petroff, Scotty Trudell, Dennis Cahill, Allen Whaley, Joe Salazar, Mike Sarno, Mike DeSantis, Pete Connell, CR Stewart, Tony Perolla, Eddie V.and Barry Westfall. Im sure I have left many of you out simply because I cant remember everyones name so for that my apologies. I would also like to thank Robert A. Mitchell Jr. for providing a place for local music and allowing us to have a location for Open MIc nights. I would also like to recognize April White for putting up with all our craziness and perhaps we can let the healing begin. We all go in different directions and to all of you mentioned best of luck in your future. Lets have an awesome open mic this week for me my last. All are welcome to join us and to celebrate everyones music. Mitchells Pubb open mic will continue so please continue to go and make great music. My focus and attention will be on that of my own band, making music and playing the music that I love. Peace and love to all of you. So much music so little time.
