Many of you may remember, a little over 7 months ago, we had a little scare with Aryka. She was hospitalized for a week. we werent sure exactly what was wrong with her. She had all types of tests, monitors, and numerous needle pokes. She was su h a brave little girl. She received losts of visits from family and friends, took her mind off it all. Couple days in, with barely any sleep, we finally got some answers. She was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome and minimal change disease. Which both affected her kidneys. we had her on a sodium restriction diet. She was bummed she couldnt eat her pickles or corned beef hash. lol. well now my babygirl is healthy. Friday will hopefully be our last appt at UNMC with the Nephrology Specialist.
