Many of you may remember the remarkable young man, Davone Tines, who recorded himself singing Ol Man River for me. You were among the first to hear that. And your reaction was phenomenal. Many said they cried. The video led to a number of exciting opportunities. The River project was created with three other world-class musicians. Plans are to rehearse and record a CD, then hold a premiere in NYC, followed by performances at music festivals and other venues. But to do the first part, funds are needed to rehearse and record. This is where the Kickstarter project comes in.
