Many of you ( my very respected friends).. Are of Caucasian , African American , Asian , etc. you also are active & retired military, active & retired law enforcement , as well as lawyers, (defense & prosecutors ).., judges retired & active, members in state & federal representative positions , numerous teachers / professors, & physicians . For the last 3 months , I have heard a repetitive statement .. An UN ARMED man/ person was shot & killed.. My lingering thought is the following ... When a person of legal obligation out of duty to protect the innocent citizens , is confronted with an individual who is presently in the act of committing a crime, or in the process of being pursued by law enforcement officers .. Must they confirm the criminal possesses a Lethal WEAPON, prior to physically restraining, halting or preventing further endangerment to fellow citizens , before they are justified to draw & discharge their weapon?.. What if the criminal is using their body physically ( beating, raping , purposefully exposing a fellow human being to body fluids, chemicals , etc. ?).. But has no (OFFICIAL Weapon= firearm / knife/ object of endangerment ) on their body ?.. What if their car in motion is the weapon? What if they simply ignite a potential explosive, use their hands to induce destruction & death?.. Is law enforcement not justified to halt the action in whatever means they deem necessary ?
