Many of you never met my mother, as she died so young. She and her sister, Martha Lawrence, were quite the musicians and pianists in our tiny town. I wish there were venues back then like there is now, to display their talent. They played at church, funerals (they were the original funeral singers), and musicals. Musicals, to the best of my memory, were rotated around different homes, where people would show up and bring there talent, and play together, or solo. The open mic nights remind me of that memory. So, Brittany Tapp, the trail was blazed long before you got here, so get back on it and finish the journey. Enjoy this song my mother use to sing. Happy Sunday! Love to all. youtu.be/6LYQoYhN2j4
