Many of you were kind enough to care about Jeremy the abandoned Pit Bull. Here are some pics of his condition. He had a horrible infestation of fleas. Those are gone. But he has an infection as well as allergy from the fleas that caused much of his hair to fall out and for his skin to form this calloused surface. You can also see the ravages of flies on his ears. Lots of rotting skin and scabbing had to be cut away to get them clean. We keep them coated with anti-bacterial jelly and they arent raw flesh now. Barely. My two existing dogs accepted him right away. We are going to keep him. Hes just the sweetest, gentlest dog. Welcome to the good life Jeremy, I got you.
